How to get here
By car
From I-94 East/West: exit at 1A (4th Street) southbound; left at Florida; the building is one block east on the south side of the street. Free street parking on Florida between 5th and the river. Two-hour metered parking on 5th between Florida and Pittsburgh.
By bus
Milwaukee County Transit System Route 15 (Bay View – Granville) stops at Florida & 5th, half a block west of the building. Route 80 (Mitchell Street) is two blocks south.
By bicycle
The Hank Aaron State Trail ends on the north side of the river two blocks north of the building. The Florida Street bike lane is signed but unprotected. We have a bike rack at the loading-bay entrance.
By Amtrak / regional rail
From Milwaukee Intermodal Station: a 12-minute walk south down 5th Street and east on Florida. The station is the closest passenger-rail stop on the Hiawatha and Empire Builder lines.
Approaching the building
425 W. Florida is a four-story Cream-City brick warehouse on the south side of Florida between 4th and 5th. The original Trostel tannery loading bay is at the southwest corner; the office entrance is the painted-steel door at the northeast corner under the awning labeled "425." Press the bell labeled "WPCC — 110" and someone will buzz you up. The freight elevator is to your left on the second-floor landing; the office is the second door on the right.

You can extend a visit in any direction without much effort. Walker's Point and the adjacent neighborhoods have a density of food, coffee, and culture that's notable even for Milwaukee:

The building's neighbors
Suite 110 is one of seven occupants on the second floor. Our floor-mates: a small-batch print bindery (Suite 105), a steel-fabrication design studio (Suite 120), the non-profit Dream Bikes youth bike shop (Suite 130), and three working artist studios (Suites 140, 150, 160). The first floor is a co-working space and a small-batch coffee roastery. The third and fourth floors are residential.
If you're stopping by uninvited
You are welcome. Coffee is in the pot. Knock if the office door is open; ring the bell if it isn't. If we are out on tests (which is most of the day Tuesday through Friday), there's a yellow legal pad on the counter for messages — Tomás reads it when he gets back from lunch.
